Sir Helpalot on the guitar
Last week I visitid my friend Thijs from the band Solitus and we worked on the Helpalot song. I used to drum in a band with Thijs so it was great fun to make music like ‘the old days’.

We made it in two sessions, the first one we figured out what the feel should be and some of the main lyrics. This second session, Thijs had practiced and improved on the song, so we could really focus on the details.

It will have an addicting rhythm and some great sing-a-long lines. The song is about Sir Helpalot and the lyrics speak of how this great knight inspires us.

We are now looking for a studio to record it. If you own a studio or know someone who might help out with recording this song (in The Netherlands), please help us out. The studio will be on the Helpalot site as an official Friend of Helpalot. Also, if you are an animator, maybe you can help us out with making a videoclip to go with the song.

Recently I had a meeting with Derick and Peter, our programmer, to fine-tune the building of the Helpalot site.

We think it is possible to have a first beta version with some of the main features ready this month. We’ve set up a form at the bottom of Helpalot.org where you can join our beta testing team. I’ll keep you informed on further progress of Helpalot.

After my graduation in September, I now found a job at Advance.

Advance

It’s a big cross-media company in Hilversum, Netherlands and I will be working there for four days a week, leaving me time to work on Helpalot.
