The Master Plan
Saving the world is easy. As a fourth year student Interaction Design, I’m taking the EMMA program*. This site is made as to give you a ‘behind the scenes’ view of the process.
Saving the world is easy, or at least it should be. I am going to build a website and a community that can facilitate people to help the world in a better way. Taking inspiration from the openness and decentralisation of Wikipedia, add Amazon-like recommendations, social network aspects and mix it with a user friendly flavour to create a website that has the potential to be a charity guide that not only contains every charity in the world, but also is the home of an energetic community that will change the world for the better.
What’s in it for the users?
- An easy way to find the charities that fits your intentions.
- A platform where you can help building towards a better world.
- Get connected with others that share your goals & intentions.
What’s in it for the charities?
- A stage where you can present yourself to the world.
- Get quality feedback on your efforts.
- Get connected with other similar charities that share your goals.
- Generate more donations out of a more successful way of presenting yourself.
* EMMA stands for The Masters of Arts in European Media
